Thepaperdealswithanumericalsolutionofa nonlinear parabolic equation describing the process of heat conduction in the case of the power dependence between the heat conductivity factor and temperature. A numerical solution technique based on the boundary element method isproposed for various types of boundary conditions. Solution algorithms are constructed for the instances of plane, circular and spherical symmetry. Examples are considered, and the calculations are verified by the power series method.
